WGBR's Milestone
 On August 14, 1939, WGBR was launched and on October 9, 1948, WGBR’s beloved Wayne Alley was born. Wayne Alley awoke October 9, 2008, just like any other day, one pant leg at a time. And as he walked into the studio, he was amazed and stunned to find out that someone knew he was celebrating a birthday. 916th Air Refueling Wing Media Flight 11/14/07
 Kari DelaCruz took to the skies on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 with the 916th Air Refueling Wing stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. It was truly an experience to see what our service men and women do for our country’s military. Big thanks to the 77th Air Refueling Squadron for allowing WGBR to participate in their media flight!
